About us

Breskens Rigging Service is located in Breskens, right next to the beautiful marina with 600 berths and direct access to the open sea at any time. It was founded in 2021 by Sacha de Rechter and Pieter Brinkman, who are both professionally trained, highly educated and experienced riggers.

Sacha and Pieter travel to wherever your boat is, for checking, service and repair work. Our experience and large network around the world guarantee that you receive the best service.

Rigger since 2002

Sacha de Rechter

Sacha joined the Hall Spars team Breskens in 2002 and was responsible for stepping and tuning of new builds. As a service technician, he has executed many repairs and modifications of masts, boom and rigging. In-house manufacturing of standing and running rigging completes his experience and makes him a highly valued professional within the industry. His technical knowledge on the water was gained by experience as a passionate sailor on both local regattas and superyacht regattas.

Rigger since 2010

Pieter Brinkman

Pieter joined Hall Spars Breskens in 2010 and was responsible for stepping and tuning of new and used masts. Pieter is also skilled as a repair technician for damaged masts and rigs. His technical on-the-water knowledge of rig setup, gained by experience as a passionate offshore racer and superyacht regatta sailor, has been input for many Hall Spars projects. His experience as a shore team rigger for the 2008 Volvo Ocean Race has contributed highly to his ability to work in different circumstances around the world.
